UPON THE ADJOURNMENT OF THE SPECIAL MEETING AT APPROXIMATELY 3:45 P.M., COUNCIL WILL VOTE TO CONVENE IN CLOSED SESSION TO CONSULT WITH COUNSEL TO OBTAIN LEGAL ADVICE ON A LEGAL MATTER AND TO CONSULT WITH STAFF, CONSULTANTS, OR OTHER INDIVIDUALS ABOUT PENDING OR POTENTIAL LITIGATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE ANNOTATED CODE OF MARYLAND §10-508(a)(7)(8) .
THE CLOSED SESSION WILL ALSO BE HELD IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS (ROOM #301). THE PUBLIC CAN OBSERVE THE MOTION, ANY DISCUSSION AND THE VOTE TO CONVENE IN CLOSED SESSION AS NOTED ABOVE.
IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE ADJOURNMENT OF THE CLOSED SESSION AT APPROXIMATELY 4:30 P.M., THE COUNCIL WILL CONVENE IN THE REGULARLY SCHEDULED WORK SESSION.
These items need to be know to the public after all we the few citizens need to know about election funds and any funds needed from somewhere else to cover that. Transparency is what there needs to be.

ReplyDeleteIdioton ran over budget with the elections? Isn't overspending a budget area illegal by the city constitution?
