ReplyDeleteDon't like our Eastern Shore? We have bridges off, that moving vans can cross. Been here all my 78 years and if you don't like us and "our way" perhaps it is time for you to take one of our bridges to a new location.
DeleteWith all them big ole 4 wheel drove trucks and mommies driving SUVs, they could take them to school on snows days. I remember riding the bus to school when the driver could not see the lines on the road due to snow - on the way into school.

ReplyDeleteThey are afraid the kids will be cold or fall on the ice. The kids will be fine as long as their parents buy them appropriate winter clothes and boots. The parents evidently weren't taught to "be prepared" for anything.

DeleteI remember several times John Fredericksen canceled school for the next day and it never snowed or rained. I personally complained every time there as a rain, snow or ice delay. I also complain about the heat. It's not that hot in school and when you cancel school for anything the kids are out playing in it anyway so what is the person.
