What is it with school resource officers these days? What an Orwellian title.
SRO Ben Fields was recently fired for slamming a teen girl down in her desk and throwing her across a room because she wouldn’t leave the room after getting in trouble for being on her cell phone.
Now, Master Sgt. Thomas Jaha has been arrested on a charge of assault for punching a 16-year-old student without a hall pass in the face not once, but twice at U.S. Grant High School in Oklahoma City.
The 16-year-old boy did commit the high crime of being in the hallway without a hall pass. When Officer Jaha caught him coming out of the bathroom, the officer yelled at the student, warning him to return to the assembly going on at the time. The student stopped to get a drink of water at the water fountain anyway, and that’s when Jaha appeared to go ballistic, punching the student twice in the face.
All of it was caught on camera.

Here we go again. Once again a school robo cop acted inappropriately. So, the kid was in the hallway of the school where he wasn't suppose to be. So, the kid used the F Bomb word at robo cop. So, the kid took the square up stance against robo cop. The kid was clearly wrong. However, his behavior does not give robo cop the right to punch this child in the face. The force used against this child was excessive. Robo cop needs to be fired. I'm sure these local yocals of the eastern shore will agree. Oh! By the way, robo cop was black. Ain't that something for the haters to talk about.
ReplyDeleteAnd, the kid was white.
DeleteOut of control people with a badge. Worst thing.
ReplyDeleteOMG the school was named after a president that owned slaves, are they changing that schools name?
ReplyDeleteHow about all the SRO's just quit. Let the admins handle the dirty work for once.
ReplyDeleteOut of control kids. sad. I guess people refuse to teach their kids respect nowadays.
ReplyDeleteHe was arrested and rightfully so, the reason he was arrested is He was Black. They don't arrest White Cops for assault against Blacks.
ReplyDeletePunk school kids should learn some respect since it is not taught at home. If not, and they won't follow orders from authority they need to receive physical enforcement. Too much pansy bs going on here in USA.
ReplyDeleteGood !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGuess he cannot do his job without using excessive force. Hilarious
ReplyDeleteKid didn't have a pass, so he is wrong! Don't break the rules, don't get hurt.
ReplyDeleteAre serious? I feel sorry for your kids! God forbid if they do something wrong. You'll probably tie them to a tree and hit them with 2x4's!
DeleteSince when do we call 16, 17, and 18 year olds kids. He was old enough to know he was going to get in trouble. Guess it was just a bit more trouble than he bargained for!
ReplyDeleteOh please. 16 and 17 year olds are still kids
Delete18 year olds are considered an adults. They just can't buy alcohol. Anyway, this group of boys are do immature. They are wet behind the ears drinking that similac juice.
