CAMBRIDGE — A two-alarm fire Monday morning in Cambridge caused an estimated $350,000 in damage to the rectory at St. Mary Refuge of Sinners Catholic Church on Glasgow Street, the state fire marshal’s office said.
A passerby reported the fire that brought 60 firefighters from Rescue Fire Company and several neighboring departments, the fire marshal’s office said. No injuries were reported, and the building was unoccupied at the time of the fire, according to the fire marshal.
Deputy state fire marshals are investigating the origin and cause of the fire. The fire marshal’s office asked anyone with information to call its Salisbury office at 410-713-3780.
