I say send the Florida inspector up here to Wicomico.
The Municipal inspector sites that the smoke and odor is a nuisance - well - he would have a field day if gets within a mile of a 600' Chicken House - fully equipped with exhaust fans that run almost continually. Talk about ODOR!!!! I would love to give him a real dose of ODOR - one sniff and his eyes would swell up and water like none other.
No normal person grills carp.No normal person eats carp. It's a wonder the whole town did'nt have to be evacuated.Who in their right mind would grill hot dogs and hamburgers on a grill AFTER carp had been there? I dug just a tad deeper on this one.
This over reach of power is not coming here. It's already here! All you people who think nothing will effect you..... Here it is. How you'll be effected by over reach and not be a criminal. When will it end? Keep cheering sheeple!
You chicken farmers are something. The money you smell is responsible for little girls growing boons at 10. Antibiotic resistance in humans due to the crap you pump in the birds. Land around your houses are so full of crap that it's useless for centuries after the farms gone.
You are both absolutely on point. I pulled up to the Millsboro stop light (next to WaWa) - and there was a Mountainair Poultry truck sitting right next to me loaded with chickens. On of those birds BLEW a wad of crap out the side and it landed square on my face. Talk about a sick puppy - I started to vomit almost immediately. If that inspector thinks BB smoke is bad, let him get a whiff of chicken manure. He would close the borders to any incoming traffic until the entire industry was eradicated.
214 and others. I will gladly show you the way to the bridge if you cant find it your silly selves. Bet you don't eat chicken or beef or pork do you?
And Einstein, the farmers don't give all that crap to the birds, the poultry co's do. The growers have no say. Complain and they will loose their contract.
The growers have all the say. They choose silence for money. If they all took a stand against the practices of the industry , they would make the changes necessary for healthy birds. Or healthy for human consumption .
They caught and ate carp all the time when I was a boy in the 60's. Good food, too, way bony, but they ("Them folk") knew how to cut that out and make a great meal out of it.
Oh my God! Don't pass gas in public you may be charged with assault ...passing deadly gasses!
ReplyDeleteI'd have to take my grill right to the curb and burn it all day long.

So, how does someone control the wind that blows the smoke? A first year law student could successfully defend this one.
