In the wake of two videos allegedly showing Planned Parenthood officials discussing the sale of aborted fetal body parts, Republicans in Congress are working to ensure that Planned Parenthood is stripped of its federal funding.
However, it’s not only the government that fills Planned Parenthood’s coffers. According to 2nd Vote, a website and app that tracks the flow of money from consumers to political causes, more than 25 percent of Planned Parenthood’s $1.3-billion annual revenue comes from private donations, which includes corporate contributions.
2nd Vote researched the corporations and organizations to find which supported Planned Parenthood and found that more than three dozen donated to the group. Some companies donated directly, while others matched employee gifts.
Forty-one corporations and organizations directly contribute to the group.
The Republicans won't do a damn thing as usual. VOTE TRUMP upset the apple cart.
ReplyDeleteI have Liberty Mutual insurance.. I see them on this list.
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna change companies.
I think a boycott is a good way to send these companies a message.
Well unfortunately I have 3 on this list which I will rectify soon.
ReplyDeleteThat's good info be sure to drop ford from my new car list..expose the demons! They are among us
ReplyDeleteThat will certainly drive them out of business!!!
ReplyDeleteAmerican Cancer Society, March of Dimes and United Way? I guess if we contribute to either of those then some of our donations are going to Planned Parenthood. Support your local charities or an hones organization like Samaritans Purse.
ReplyDeleteThe nice thing about United Way is that you can specify the charity that you want your money to go to. I have given directly through payroll deduction every 2 weeks for the past 10 years. And i have designated that every penny goes directly to Planned Parenthood. Because many years ago, when I had no insurance and needed medical care, Planned Parenthood was there to help me. And no...I did not go there for an abortion. Scores of women depend on Planned Partenthood for preventative healthcare and counseling.
