Rep. Donna F. Edwards called for a sweeping overhaul of federal gun laws in an opinion piece in The Baltimore Sun. The Prince George's County lawmaker says she supports a ban on assault weapons and a prohibition on domestic abusers purchasing firearms.
The latest addition to Edwards' platform comes after her opponent, Rep. Chris Van Hollen, introduced a bill to toughen handgun licensing requirements and make it harder for people to buy firearms from private dealers and at gun shows.

ReplyDeleteThese people just don't get it. That punk in S. Carolina didn't use an "assault weapon", He didn't have a "high capacity" mag, he didn't buy his gun at a gun show, and he didn't buy it from a private dealer. There were signs that he was unstable, which everybody ignored.

ReplyDeleteThe Gay marriage was passed using the due process clause and if the SCOTUS is consistent in their rulings this would allow open carry and concealed carry in all 50 states if licensed in one.

Who is running for the Republicans or another party besides these Liberal nut cases? Liberal MD needs to go back to Capitol Punishment with short time frames for Death Penalty and tighter Prison control with less privileges that will make it uncomfortable conditions and they will not want to go to Prison..
