--Ethel Lance, 70, a retired Gilliard Center employee who worked recently as a church janitor.
--Susie Jackson, 87, Lance’s cousin who was named by a relative and was a longtime church member.
--Depayne Middleton Doctor, 49, who retired in 2005 as Charleston County director of the Community Development Block Grant Program.
--Mira Thompson, 59, a pastor at the church.
--Daniel Simmons Sr., 74, who died in a hospital operating room.
Sharpton's already slithered down to Charleston.
ReplyDeleteWhile this is truly heartbreaking, why isn't Sharton in Baltimore? A 7 year old child was brutally murdered there recently by a shot purposely to his head and an 85 year old woman was shot (not killed) by a stray bullet that entered her home while she was taking a bath. While this is certainly a tragedy it pales in comparison to the hate blacks have for each other as evidenced by the many many many black on black shootings that occur everyday-each and every single day- in this country. If blacks don't respect the lives of other blacks then the evil deranged like this church shooter surely aren't going to.

That puts it first in the world for gun ownership - and even the number two country, Yemen, has significantly fewer - 54.8 per 100 people..But the US does not have the worst firearm murder rate - that prize belongs to Honduras, El Salvador and Jamaica. In fact, the US is number 28, with a rate of 2.97 per 100,000 people..Puerto Rico tops the world's table for firearms murders as a percentage of all homicides - 94.8%. It's followed by Sierra Leone in Africa and Saint Kitts and Nevis in the Caribbean

ReplyDeleteWhy such a big hullabaloo, blacks kill each other everyday in Chicago, Baltimore, Detroit, all over. Remember black lives don't matter unless a white guy kills them.
ReplyDelete9:04, nobody said they don't matter unless a white guy kills them (in fact Sharpton et al have been to all those places you named MULTIPLE times), it only matters much more so in this case because it is clearly a hate-motivated crime. Maybe if some white people weren't so damn short-sighted to be so racist, 9 people wouldn't have been shot by a white thug in a church.
