The Baltimore riots prove liberal policies that pumped huge sums of cash into the nation's inner cities have failed dramatically, says Daniel Henninger, deputy editorial page director of the Wall Street Journal.
"Billions upon billions of dollars have been poured into the inner cities of this country," Henninger said Monday on "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.
"If we've got a problem in 2015 after all these years, then there's a problem with the liberal model for resurrecting the inner cities of the country.
"Obviously, there is a problem and [it's] not going to change … until the liberals running these place have been voted out of office. It can't come soon enough."
Baltimore is still reeling following rioting, looting and assaults that occurred in the wake of a death of Freddie Gray, a 25-year-old African American man who suffered a fatal spine injury in the back of a police van. Six cops have been hit with criminal charges.
"The liberals and the left will continue to try to brainwash minority communities in this country about conservatives in that way, but there is a moral high ground and there are moral issues that need to be addressed. Conservatives should not be intimidated...."
