A police officer is killed every 60 hours in the United States, and yet no one riots and protests over that. In response to anti-police sentiment recently in Baltimore, the police department launched a ‘MyLifeMatters’ campaign… and the response will leave you disgusted.
Baltimore police are facing a barrage of criticism on social media after the local chapter of the Fraternal Order of Police launched a #MyLifeMatters campaign on Twitter.
In response to days of anti-police protests in Baltimore last week, Gene Ryan, president of the Fraternal Order of Police Baltimore City Lodge 3, has expressed concern about low morale among officers during interviews with the media and the campaign serves as a show of support.
Photos depicting officers with the hashtag written on their hands surfaced on Twitter, along with photos from family members. There was even a photo posted in support of slain New York Police Department Officer Brian Moore, who was shot and killed over the weekend.
But the feel-good sentiment was more than the “police brutality” crowd could tolerate, with one user accusing police of instigating conflict: “Baltimore police union really trying it with this #MyLifeMatters hashtag. They really do want a war.”

This is all very nice I am sure. At what point did anyone other than the most radical of radicals suggest that law enforcement lives do not matter?
ReplyDelete2:19 Did you hear the Mayor? Al Sharpton? AG Lynch? President Obama?
ReplyDeleteAre you hearing their words or refusing to listen or believe their words?
2:19-Is it suggested that anyone said LE lives don't matter? I don't know because I didn't click on the link to read through.
ReplyDeleteAny rational person, can conclude that LE lives are marginalized compared to the life of a thug killed by a cop, even when the killing turns out to be justified.
When's the last time, the media has devoted even a fraction of coverage to a murdered LE officer as it has to Freddie Gray?
Lets give them the war they want.
ReplyDelete2:19 PA-Leeze. You're joking I'm sure. the black leaders in that city almost showed contempt on several occasions. this was witnessed over and over again on the news. actually had the nerve and stupidity to say she wanted justice for Gray. well, what about justice (when all the truth is revealed)for Everyone involved. black on black crime is still far and away the biggest problem. Baltimore has had a Liberal/Democrat as Mayor and leadership under that Liberal/Democrat Mayor since 1967. Do you suppose they could have done something, anything to make this city better? Baltimore just received 1.8 billion dollars when Obama came into office. Where in the heck is that money? What did these idiot leaders do to improve their city? NOTHING, that's what. Baltimore city receives more money per student in the horrible, failing government schools than almost all districts across America.
ReplyDeleteThese Dems have allowed this city to become a place for thugs, gangs, no good trouble makers. Republicans did NOT do this to Baltimore. I say DON'T allow any white policemen in cities. Then we'll see what happens. I really don't believe it's a race issue, but something must be done to correct this situation.
Just get the Dems out of this city and watch it begin to turn around and eventually thrive. Period.
Not so much the radicals they have to worry about, it's mainly the thugs, sort of like the one's you saw going nuts burning and jumping up and down in Balt.
ReplyDelete"Baltimore just received 1.8 billion dollars when Obama came into office. Where in the heck is that money?"
ReplyDeletePrevious mayor another black woman Sheila Dixon stole some of it. She was stealing gift cards meant to go to poor children among other things. She had to resign.
Politicians and. Realtors just like in Slumsbury.
DeleteIts simple folks. All lives matter. The sooner we as a whole realize that , the killing will slow to almost a stop. Sure people will still kill. But when we all value life for what it truly is , it will be far less common. Life isn't color. Its being a kid playing. A student learning. A parent raising a family. A community helping those in need. We are all losing our lives in so many ways. Only together can we get out lives back. As one. One nation. Under one God! Indivisible! With liberty and justice for all!
ReplyDeleteFYI, Mayor SRB's father was a state delegate whose district was one of the hardest hit during last week's riots.
ReplyDeleteCop lives don't matter anymore, if they did, Obama would have said so, and also sent a representative to many of the officers funerals in the past 6 years.
ReplyDeleteWhoa! Now your cooking with gas. But the question is why are cops enforcing these crazy laws and acting like the sheriff of knottingham for a government that doesn't care about them? That endangers them? Lmao!
DeleteThat is a very good question 6:42PM. Why? Why are they standing behind a gov't such as this that we have? Another question is, will the military do the same thing, knowing how this gov't feels about them? HSA has openly admitted that they are preparing for our uprising but, how many of their 'soldiers' will stand behind them? And, if they would, why?
ReplyDeleteIf they want to keep their lives, they should stop taking others.
ReplyDelete3:19 PM
ReplyDeleteThey gave it to Israel.
In a war both sides will have large numbers of casualties.(dead non-blacks/dead non-whites)You have solved nothing, just a bunch of crying kids missing their dads on fathers day.
