You haven't seen anything yet. The anti-police atmosphere is causing local police administrations to put an end to proactive policing units such as safe streets. Proactive units ferret out criminal activity which, in turn, increases the likelyhood of a violent confrontation. Then the confrontation is video recorded and put on social media. People who are not educated in the finer points of the law see these videos and create virtual lynch mobs which leads to more political pressure being placed on police agencies. The result? Police officers being conditioned to patrol and answer calls for service only in order keep their jobs. Double edge sword - this social media thing.

THIS is why these officers are changing the way they do business. They want to keep their jobs. So now they behave in a manner more in line with those who think they know what the law is and the animals run wild. Enjoy whay you've created! Bask in the rights you believe you are entitled to while innocent people are robbed, beaten, and shot! You've earned these rights sitting behind your computers bitching about how the police are jackbooted thugs! The uneducated have created a new environment for us all! Thank you! Keep going. ReplyDelete27 shootings so far this weekend in Baltimore. The most this century in one weekend. The leadership in Baltimore got it wrong. Allowing room to loot and destroy entitled the these thugs. They want to call them children. Yes by age most are children but by criminal mentality they are adults and should be treated as such. Anyone going to Baltimore for anything better have a bullet proof vest on.
ReplyDeleteI say let the Black Lives matter crew have that city. Just look at what the Black Lives are doing daily to clean up the streets lol. They are killing each other at a rate never seen before. Give some people free food they know what to do with it. Give some people responsibility and opportunity they just don't know how to handle it.

This is not the first time we have heard gunshot and had no clue what exact street it came from. Luckily the person who called it in did.

ReplyDeleteReally? Ok. I'll bet you are wrong at least 50% of the time! Most people cant tell the difference. A .22 and a .25 pistol sound like a common firecracker. Now lets throw in the fact that they can come from behind a residence or in an alley. You friend, have proven your ignorance simply by making that comment.
