OMG! What happened to her? Wasn't she married to the Salisbury Fireman Joe Derbyshire who was arrested for assult. They were once such a nice couple and had great jobs.
ReplyDeleteDrugs that's what happened. Heroin knows no boundaries.
ReplyDeleteSuch a shame. I thought she had a lot going for her and Joe back in the day. They both had potential.
ReplyDeleteYes, that firefighter that got into trouble because of his wife's and mother-in-law's drug problem lost his good job. He is working and raising the children. Keep his name out of this. He has nothing to do with it.
ReplyDeleteThe Deal Island gang was victimized by an illegal search weren't they?
ReplyDelete2:29 Apparently, you are not a good judge of people. Unless, doping herself out was her potential?
ReplyDeleteWhy charge her? What idiot would leave a person like that in their home gets what happens. They left her in charge of that home. This is more of an idiot call than a theft!
ReplyDeleteAnd from the family, I can assure you that Joe & the kids are doing GREAT. He got swept in the middle of a mess. Joe is doing fine and taking care of his kids. Please leave him out of this. As for Emily AND her mother................ I'll stop and say no more. And, 1:46, you're exactly on point.
ReplyDelete3:25 Pretty sad you think Joe is just a poor innocent bystander in all this mess. And I'll stop and say nothing else. AND
ReplyDelete1:46 is exactly on point. This is a sad sad mess for these families and those who love them.
32 y/o? She looks 45, and a rough one at that.
ReplyDeleteNo one was accusing Joe of anything but he is not a saint ..he did have an affair with a co-worker after their daughter was born. Yes people do change though. But Emily put up with a lot when she found out and stood her ground. Still no excuse for what has happened. Its just all around sad when children are involved.
ReplyDeleteWow 32? After reading above comment I had to go back and check because if I had to take a guess I would have thought she were at least 50 years old.
ReplyDelete4:21 I didn't say Joe was innocent, I said he was swept in the middle of a mess AND he is trying to be both father & mother to these two kids. And I should know, I am her father. And, yes, I also got con'ed and scam'ed. But I am proud to stand behind and beside Joe and my grandchildren throughout all of this. Signed, David Twilley
ReplyDeleteAnd, to 3:18, until you know why I had to leave her in my home, just shut up. Did you offer to care for her grandmother who was in ICU in Florida after a severe fall & injury last summer??? I've made 7 trips back & forth to Florida in the past 9 months....to both care for Mom and my daughter. Obviously, it didn't work out. If you don't know the facts, just hush. I/we did the best we could. You're running your mouth under the "anonymous" watershed. Let's have breakfast and you can ask all the questions you'd like to ask...in person. David Twilley
ReplyDeleteOnly fact I need to know is you were stupid enough to leave her in your home knowing who and what she is. And I know for a fact there is other options available. The fact is you made a stupid decision. I have no questions to ask you. Story tells itself!

He has nothing to do with this? How do you know? He knew she had a drug problem long before this. Maybe he should have reported her before this. There have been many instances of drugs disappearing off Salisbury ambulances while he was there. What makes you think it wasn't him? He is a redneck and it came out when he took it on his home to beat up people when he didn't have to. He is a typical redneck from the Hebron Fire Department just like Busch Beach is. He is not an innocent party in this relationship, but I do commend him for raising his children.
Hebron and Mardela Fire are full of addicts!
Delete"Ireton countered that it was that same constituency that voted for the tax revenue cap in 2001, one he said "crippled education in our county.""
ReplyDeleteIreton just attacked the majority of voters in Wicomico County. Many of these voters are his constituents. WTH does a revenue cap in 2001 have to do with an elected school board in 2015, 14 years later. Give it a rest Jim Ireton you are a basic retard that shouldn't be teaching our children in school.
Joe Derbyshire has a criminal record for assault and battery. He was fired for the same at the Salisbury Fire Department and now he is working at the Hebron Fire Department as an EMT. If he gets fired from one fire department for a criminal record then why is another fire department in the county hiring him?
ReplyDeleteHebron is a private company that answers to its members and board of trustees Salisbury is run by the government.
Delete6:52 The Dukes of Hazard song comes to mind.
ReplyDelete6:52 that's how it works get released in one area's emt/fireman/kop force and go down the road for the next job doing the same.
ReplyDeleteGood ole boys is right !!!! He is not the only one who has had a drug problem and worked for the Salisbury Fire Department. They are still employing one that has had an addiction for YEARS and has been demoted three times and was passed out in the back of an ambulance while working from his prescription drug use! And we are paying for his salary.
ReplyDeleteYou people need to get a life and stop worrying about everyone else
ReplyDeleteSomeone should be worried for the safety of others. The city is employing these people. I wouldn't want someone under the influence being in charge of making decisions concerning my life in an emergency. Weed out the bad apples and the blog wouldn't be like this.
