SALISBURY: **ROBBERY - VICTIM INJURED**



*Police Alert*
**ROBBERY - VICTIM INJURED**
UPDATE | 8:21pm: Suspect has been identified. Police are actively searching for him at this time. The victim was robbed and assaulted. There is video. The suspect is known by police, and has a very violent history with police, and a known heavy drug user. 
We are withholding the name if the suspect, and allowing the police do to their job.
In the area of Food Lion
Snow Hill Road 
Salisbury
What we know:
-Unknown police activity at this time. 
-Dispatchers are still working the call. 
-They do know they are looking for a suspect:
White tee, jeans, blonde hair 
UPDATE: Sounds like the suspect tried to steal the victim's car. 
UPDATE: Victim is requesting EMS. Paramedic 16 dispatched. 
UPDATE: Victim is now not requesting EMS. Paramedic 16 cancelled.
UPDATE: Suspect possibly identified.

    How is withholding the suspect's name allowing the police to do their job? When there is a known suspect the prudent thing is to use every tool possible to apprehend the suspect and the public is the largest tool in the box.

    11:35 It's gotta be a rock solid ID before putting it out there. But I agree that they should release it after it's legitimately confirmed.
