ReplyDeleteI really don't know yet. I need to write a letter. Yes a letter with a stamp and all! It's to an Amish friend who lives in New Holland PA. We talk on the telephone all summer, but since her telephone is in an outbuilding and not in the home, it's a bit uncomfortable for her to use it any length of time in the winter.

ReplyDeleteGoing on a road trip several states away. And I will not be bring any means to connect to the internet with me. I really need a break from it all. As much as I value your site Joe, I especially need a break from all the negativity displayed from your readers.
ReplyDeleteI know it has nothing to do with you or your blog, it's just the mentality of most people that I need a break from.
Maybe I will find some happier people in person, ones who still retain some good will inside them and not so critical of fellow human beings.
I am almost afraid to check back on this thread to see what vile comments will show up in response to mine.
But you, and even all of your readers, have a great weekend and I will be back next week.
