The School Lunches Malia And Sasha Eat Vs. The Crap Michelle Obama Has Foisted On America
Most American kids attend public schools. On the other hand, the first daughters, Malia and Sasha, attend Sidwell Friends School in Washington, D.C. Tuition per student at the private school is $36,264 per year (but that includes a hot lunch).
#1 its funny how school lunch suddenly becomes controversial when the First Lady simply states "eat right and excercise", same thing the doc has been saying for generations
#2 seems that you guys contradict yourselves quite well. You espouse the need to limit food stamps so that people can only purchase healthy foods. Yet suddenly when it comes to school lunches, provided by public dollars, you have a problem with nutrition guidelines.
#3 the author isn't too bright. Or better yet, is simply blinded by his not so hidden agenda. He states the price tag for the school, then claims the lunches served there are free. Do these guys even read their articles before print?
#4 I don't see where any thing M.O. has done bans bringing your own lunch. Sounds like the self-sufficiency that you guys have always supported
#5 Less kids consistently eating less lunch leads to savings in fed dollars anyway once schools adapt their purchasing practices. Another win there!
