Today's Survey Question 11-20-14

Networks are cancelling the Cosby Show and other contracts with Bill Cosby based around accusations of alleged wrong doing.

OJ Simpson kills his Wife and they are still showing the movie Airport.

Do you think it is fair that Bill Cosby is Guilty before Innocent?

  1. I personally don't want to believe it. Seems strange when he speaks out about family values and the lack of them in the black community he is now attacked for something that allegedly happened back in the 1980's.

If this did happen, why did it take so long for them to come forward and why now? Could it be some kind of pay back for speaking out against Obama?

Even if this did happen, it was over thirty years ago, and since they didn't file a police report, it must have been consensual. Seems the more money and fame you have, they will always be people who will try and take advantage of that for money.

  2. It's liberal payback for his outspoken conservative views. He's black, so he's supposed to be liberal...or else!

  3. Simply, wow, of the previous comments. First it is not unusual for rape and molestation, male or female, not to be reported. Especially back then. And as evidenced by 7:43's ignorance - the victim is often blamed.
Especially when the accused is someone famous or in power.
Politics has nothing to do with it. Lets use Paula Deen as an example. She was dragged thru the mud due to an indiscretion that happened 20+ years ago. How is this any different.
I see the MSM agenda of dumbing down america is working.

  4. No but he has every right to be found guilty in the court of public opinion and after the 13th woman came out (that was confirmed linked to him around the time)I started to believe it

  5. The movie Airplane has OJ in it but Bill's show carries his name...It's the COSBY show! Apples and oranges in my opinion.

  6. 8:30, we'll agree to disagree.

I find it interesting how a guy like Pete Rose who never took drugs was kicked out of the Hall of Fame and now we're seeing football players being thrown out of the league after being accused of wrong doing.

My point is, these people aren't being tried in a court of law, they're making up their own laws and finding people guilty on their own.

Again, how many years later are they ACCUSING Bill???? It doesn't mean his SHOW isn't healthy and a good message for Americans. Until he is proven guilty, none of this should be happening.

  7. For once, I agree with you, Joe. Look at Michael Jackson, too. He was guilty in the public eye even after being acquitted, same with OJ (who later wrote the book "If I Did It").

People do things when they are at the pinnacle of their careers that they could later be ashamed of, and I'm not using that as an excuse or anything, however, people should really not listen to the news and wait for the courts to play it out (if it even gets that far). Just my opinion.

  8. I agree, Joe. Although it appears more and more that the Cos may be guilty, he should be allowed to go through the legal process before decisions are made to cancel shows or whatever. It's sad to think about it because he was always a favorite of mine...a very funny fellow....Right!!!

  9. Pete Rose was never in the "Hall of Fame" so how was he kicked out of it?

  10. 8:54, I stand corrected. He holds many major league records and should have been inducted into the Hall of Fame. His record is what it is and they should lift that ban.

  11. Nary a WORD about Bill Clinton's accusers (dating back to his college days) and impeachment.

  12. The story in today's blog of the girls wearing pink says it all. What's the point? Has Cosby broken Clinton's record?

  14. No they should not have cancelled his show. I believe they've been looking for something like this because a real true traditional black family, with a mother and a father in the picture and no "his" "hers" and "ours" present, isn't what they want blacks to see.
They want them to see and relate to the gangster/criminal mentality so this way they can be controlled more.

  15. It's just sad anyway you look at it. If it's true, the victims have suffered for a long time. If it's false, Bill and his family will never be the same.

  16. The reason the networks are cancelling the show has nothing to do with Cosby. They are afraid their advertisers will boycott or pull the ads. Its all about the money.

  17. The reason he is being attacked is because he speaks the truth about blacks. He constantly is telling them to stay in school, be a man and father, stop the mobster act and get a job. All things that they hate! This is a smear campaign against a man that has obtained the American dream, by working hard for it. He is exactly what the black folks hate. He's rich and not a rapper, con-man, criminal, athlete, but a highly educated, hard working black man.

  18. I am sorry but I actually believe the allegations! It is very hard to come out and admit that you have been raped or assaulted. It takes time, and actually some people never come forward - they live with the grief their entire lives. Considering the fact that Mr. Cosby has already settled one case out of court by paying the victim, I would say there is Quite a good possibility that he is GUILTY! I don't care how old he is! How can you portray yourself as a family man when you are abusing women and cheating on your wife! Some great values!

  19. 10:32, Speak to ANY lawyer and you will quickly learn that there are MANY times when it is much easier and much less expensive to settle a case then it is to go through a trial. Celebrities are constantly pressured into settling cases in the hopes of just keeping the charges out of the public eye.

Look at your car insurance companies. In many cases they settle out of court een though they know for a fact the other person is completely full of crap.

With all due respect, at this time, I'm not buying it.

Her opinion is the last thing any intelligent sensible person wants to hear. Used toilet paper has more value than anything that would ever come out of her vulgar mouth. Anyone who would compare a US prison to a concentration camp isn't worth a damn. I just hope she doesn't have children and grandchildren. She
s a poor excuse for a human much less a parent and she is all that is wrong in the black communities and the reason why they have been and continue to spiral downhill.

  21. Bill Cosby pissed the Blacks off when he stated they were 2 decades behind White Americans!

  22. Guilty as charged. Too many people coming forward with the same type of history. He is a serial rapist. Sad but true. He could have been a man to look up to respect and admire. This just kills that.

    ReplyDelete
  23. How many women does it take to make sexist men believe that their hero is a rapist??? Stay tuned because statistically speaking there are quite a few more women to speak out. We are tired of the double standard.

  24. Ok...black person here. figured i would get that out of the way first. Let me start by saying that I totally agree with everything that Bill Cosby said concerning the disintegration of the black family. It has been the downfall of the black community and it is accelerating at an alarming rate. that being said...it has nothing to do with any of these allegations other than it portraying him as a complete hypocrite. The sad thing is that if you research this issue, these allegations were brought forward many times before and even presented to several prosecutors during the 80's. The prosecutors determined that even though he thought that Cosby was guilty, there was not enough evidence to move forward with an indictment, especially with the money, power and popularity that he had at the tim. The idea of "Date Rape" or "Drugged Rape" was not really prevalent 30 years ago so unless it was a violent rape, it tended to go away without prosecution which is extremely sad. What you all need to ask yourself is...why would any woman create a story of such horrific details without any chance of criminal charges being filed because of statue of limitations or any chance of financial gain. Many of the women have gone on to have successful lives with families...13 of them at that? I feel that the only thing they have to gain is the piece of mind that their stories are being heard and that this piece of $h1t is getting the shame that he deserved years ago. He even joked about it in one of routines. Listen to it and see if you feel the same way. - http://time.com/3591974/bill-cosby-spanish-fly-joke-drugging-women/

  25. GUILTY UNTIL PROVEN INNOCENT, THIS is The new America of Obama... This is what happens if you disagree with or "slight" POTUS. Designed mostly to distract us from the illegal acts of potus.

    ReplyDelete
  26. What the hell does Obama have to do with this?...he is a crappy politician just like the rest of them. Are you seriously saying that these women came up with these stories to distract us from Obamacare and all the other mess our country is in?...idiots!

  27. I am not that much a fan of Cosby but I think one of the accusers Janice Dickinson who is low class white trash calls into question all the other accusers. SHe's have multiple husbands, illegitimate children and has had sex with both men and woman and talks about it.
You don't ever believe white trash like her to a full extent. Lying and creating drama is a prevalent white trash trait. She's also accused her own father of the same thing.

  29. It's retirement age for these women, and they think Bill's got enough money they can all line their own nests with.

  30. Michelle Hurd came forward yesterday. I think this makes woman #14. She's an actress in Law and Order and is financially secure. But let me guess she just made it up just like all the other woman huh?

  31. The cock-up in Ferguson is being manipulated to cause civil unrest, hopefully ending in race riots. It is being done intentionally and with malice and forethought by the powers that be. An excuse to declare martial law.

In an analysis of that situation, I read something where the author postulated that Cosby's troubles right now were intentionally designed to discredit and neutralize him in regards to Ferguson.

Because as an elder statesman of common sense in this country, his words could go a long way to mitigating the unrest being fermented by the PTB scumbags.

Makes Perfect sense to me. In that same article, it mentioned a Black Panther leader (sorry, I've forgotten his name) who had submitted an FOIA request to find out what the FBI had on his file in the late 60s, early 70s. In documents he received, the FBI stresses their need neutralize him because he had an ability to remain calm and get his message across to people of all races.

Bill Cosby is like that. And if you haven't figured out yet that the race problem in this country is manipulated and perpetuated by our government, then you aren't paying attention.
