BREAKING NEWS: FAITH BAPTIST CHURCH LOSES POWER

The Faith Baptist Church on Dagsboro Road lost power for about 45 minutes today. Machines 7 through 11 were taken off line because the backup generator could not carry the load to support all of the machines. The Board of Elections was notified.

  1. Where is the separation of state from church? No elections should be held at any church. The government wants to destroy Christianity.

  5. Churches are a gathering place of the People, and not a part of the government, which makes them the perfect place to gather for an election of who will represent us, the people.

I'm against the firehouses hosting this for this specific reason. Once the voting places are only in government controlled buildings, your vote will no longer count.

    Public schools come to mind...

Private schools, churches and the like are the perfect venue to keep government out of our free choices.

  9. yes 7:22, had to be a conspiracy because there are never power outages and a big tree didn't fall on lines Sunday and needed a permanent repair.

  10. They should use churches exclusively.

  11. People must not remember the reason or purpose of churches! They are here to provide the people of a free place for people to assemble in their own right and express free ideas, and to choose their own ideas. They provide a community with each other and bring together ideas and purposes that fulfill a community. They are there so that the members are able to serve the community with charitable issues and proactive help for folks like the homeless.

That's why they are tax free.

  12. Any facility large enough, enough places to plug in and handicap access is a good candidate for being a polling place. That simple, folks.

  13. Conspiracy? You're joking. The power was out from Kohls all the way past the Exxon next to the weigh scales and down old Delmar Road a couple of miles. Went out yesterday too.
