State To Open Sussex Drug Treatment Center

State officials say an addiction rehab center could open in Lewes to improve services in Sussex County.

“Lewes may be their optimum location,” said Jill Fredel, communications director for the Department of Health and Social Services.

Fredel said she does not know where the facility will be located, noting it is early on in the application process.

Marc Richman, assistant director for Community Mental Health and Addiction Services, said the state will contract management of the facility to Connections, a Delaware nonprofit that will provide counselors and medical staff for the treatment center.

    odd question, but doesnt georgetown also have an extremely large concentration of illegals? hmmm.

    They have a large LEGAL immigrant population, yes. Not every latino is an illegal.
