Maryland Gov.O'Malley, who is reportedly considering a run for president, said that he sometimes feels closer in spirit to his 20-something daughters than to the baby boom generation that he is a part of.
"I am noticing a generational shift," the 51-year-old Democrat told CNN in an interview that included his view that younger generations see WiFii access as a "human right."
O'Malley gushes about the re-birth of American cities, a renaissance he said is driven by young people who "have an awareness of our interdependence" and chafe at hierarchies and top-down leadership.

Whatever he is smoking I want some. What a dingbat.
ReplyDeleteWhat an idiot! You get WIFI when you pay a private BUSINESS, called an Internet service provider, who pays for expensive equipment and access to communication lines and dishes that are owned by other PRIVATE BUSINESSES that invested a lot of money in their equipment to access satellites which were built and launched by other PRIVATE BUSINESSES into orbit and powered up to bring us all WIFI, which is yet again a physical piece of equipment which costs money because it was built by....any guesses?
ReplyDeleteAnd he teaches our children it should just be "free".
And, he's a Dumbocrat, too.
He forgot to mention the attitude of "I am entitled to anything I want, NOW, and out of somebody else's pocket." It's not just WiFi access... That is the prevailing attitude on everything..
ReplyDeletethese guys are like the mob. every time an opportunity presents itself. They muscle in and take it over and screw it the hell up.ends up costing us more. Libtard is a diease that must be stopped
ReplyDeleteThis moron has been giving away stuff for so long to so many, he's expecting them to demand it as a right - to which the Democrats respond with "elect us and you can have it for free"!
ReplyDeleteThis is not a right, you have to earn it. O'Malley is a Democratic Communists liberal. This jerk has lost it!
ReplyDeleteWhere do Democrats come up with this crap. I worked and saved to buy my used pickup truck. I also have to pay for insurance and registration. Should that be a "human right"? O'Malley is out of touch with the real world.
ReplyDeleteActually Google is launching a project that will enable satellite internet access to remote third world areas, essentially giving the world WiFi. I am not saying it would be free but, if their mission is to further the development of the rest of the world I don't see how they would expect get paid. They could limit access to it but again I don't see why they would. More access would allow them to make more money. So in this case I agree with him.
ReplyDeleteAt least he didn't say "email is the future" like Norm Conway.
The scary part for me is how much control that would give Goolge.
Earn is not in democrats vocabulary.
ReplyDeleteA "human right" to be radiated with more waves? Great.
ReplyDeletewhat else would you expect from a former mayor of Baltimore?
ReplyDeleteJust an observation: watched the orioles lose last night to kc. I was thinking that is the most white people you'll see in downtown Balt. It has become one of the most entitlement rich cities in our country.
ReplyDeleteHow did we become such an entitlement society where no one thinks they should get things for free and not earn them or pay their own way.
ReplyDeleteWe should just ask them for a list of all the free things they think they are entitled to. Once we get the list we can instantly present them with a tax bill they can pay. I wonder how many of them would be dumbfounded
ReplyDeleteThe ongoing evolution of the liberal mind set. Not based on facts or reality. "Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." That's what we are entitled to.
ReplyDeleteYes just like some think welfare, cell phones, public housing is a right.O'Mally your democratic party created the it's my right to have it.
