Today we will continue with the BOE's summertime food cost. Prior weeks post have shown that it's not just for the children as is often used as an excuse. $162,000.00 in twenty four months was disclosed in a state audit done earlier this year . We must remember five years of tax hikes on the citizens of Wicomico County no oversight on the counties from the county just give them more money.

I still Want people ARRESTED,
ReplyDeleteME TOO!!
ReplyDeleteRight 9:35. If they are giving up the gift cards then there surely was some abuse which a real leader would be not asking for but demanding accountability.
ReplyDeleteThe problem is real leaders are few and far between. Most officials are ignorant buffoons whose only claim to success is sucking off the tax payers. If any were related to me, I would disown them. Piss poor excuses for human beings much less parents.
Have they been taken back yet?
ReplyDeleteBut if they take away these gift cards or credit cards, whatever, look at how many businesses will be suffering withdrawal symptoms.
ReplyDelete/sarc off
cash reimbursements? they will figure another way to skim
ReplyDeleteNot giving any More out??? Does that mean ----to New people---allowing the ones that already have them to keep them????
ReplyDeleteThere is summer school and workshops from June-August. And field trips.
ReplyDeleteYeah right 1:02. That's why there's been absolutely no official explanation for this spending whatsoever. If this were honest spending we could be seeing proof.
ReplyDeleteThis list is disgusting. I am sorry but are they trying to tell me they took a child to Market Sreet Inn, Evolution Craft Brewing, Back Street Grill etc. Sure, and I got some wetlands to sell you in desert in Nevada. Give me a break. The county needs to make them accountable. Everything should have a receipt!!!! Looks like to me they are having meals for themselves, alcohol included. Prove me wrong BOE!
ReplyDeleteJosh Hastings made a comment about air conditioning in the schools on his web page but he has yet to say anything about this wasteful spending by his friends and family members. As if he is going to do something about the air conditioning if he gets elected. (the link is broken on purpose) Anyone paying attention knows what it is in reference to.

Seriously, how is this acceptable that we have (3) schools without basic air conditioning? Not cool, Wicomico. (Literally, not cool.)

1:02 Since when do we treat kids to east side deli, and a pretzel place, 3 times in the same day? I've been on field trips, and everyone, including teachers and chaperons, are required to bring their own lunch. This is waste, FRAUD, STEALING...

I don't give a flying F*k if anything goes on during the Summer. These are personal perks and they are taking advantage of the system. The appointed Board of Education needs to put a stop to this. If I remember correctly the President of the BOE, Ron Willey agreed there was no wrong doing in the legislative audit. Guess what Mr. Willey you are a former school teacher and principal so apparently you are used to wasting tax dollars. This is the reason that no Board of Education members should be appointed if they worked in any school system. To me this should be an automatic disqualification. This is a major conflict of interest.
There are certain groups within the school system that are allowed to get away with this at John Fredericksen's approval.
ReplyDeleteJohn Frederickksen needs to be terminated. The BOE needs to buy out his contract and send him packing back to Minnesota.
Good luck getting info from the board of ed if they don't want you to have it. How they continue to get away with it amazes many.
