Jack Heath was chosen as the replacement for former Council Member Terry Cohen's seat.
On another City note, Mayor Jim Ireton is NOT going to support a plan to move forward to spend City funding/money on the 12 Firefighters at this time.
The positions were NOT guaranteed and or permanent and the Mayor has made a solid and firm decision on this matter.

You are a Richard Head and to spineless to sign your name. All of you dirt bags need to be terminated and the department should become an EMS Department. The Paramedics should have to re-apply for their jobs and pick the best ones that are true to EMS. There are some that became paramedics just so they can get hired as a firefighter because they thought their chances were better if they were a paramedic.
You are correct the firemen lied and Rick Hoppes should be fired. Get rid of the fake religious moron. He says prayers all the time like he is someone. He is not religious because if he was there wouldn't have been so many knives he put in backs.

What does it matter, he has Lt. Uncle Greg Hoppes assigned as a "Maintenace Lieutenant" spending most of his day taking smoke breaks and playing Solitaire when he is not dosing off at his desk. He never ever has to ride the ambulance. He is never assigned on a shift to cover for other officers when they are off. This guy is making $65,000 and smokes cigarettes, drinks coffee and sleeps all day.
Don't complain to Rick Hoppes because blood is thicker than water. Rick Hoppes wouldn't make a pimple on a real Fire Chiefs sweaty butt.

Joe you need to do an entire separate story on this. It shouldn't be hidden in a story about an appointed council person that was rejected by the voters of the City of Salisbury.

Correction Fat Boy you only go to events around town that have food. Especially free food that you don't have to ride far on your FatBoy Scooter to get to it.
I find that comment about Rick Hoppes' relative getting paid nearly $70,000 a year to sit on his but and build up his retirement. This is an outrage and it should disgust every tax payer. Especially every tax payer that is struggling to make ends meet working 2 jobs.

Donuts? He has already inhaled 6 boxes of them before 6 am. Now he is working on 6 boxes of Pizzas bought for him courtesy of a financial contribution from the Coastal Association of Realtors. He is trying to spend all that money so he doesn't have to give it back to them.
Shame on the Coastal Association of Realtors for even endorsing a loser. He only told them what they wanted to here.
Although Jack Heath was the boss of Brenda Jager Malone, no one person can pick up one every move that any employee makes. Wonder if they are as far behind in their bookkeeping as Dove Pointe. Just like Lower Shore, Dove Pointe wouldnt know if anyone stole any money since their books are almost 1 year behind. But yet people praise the 2 in charge there.
