Motor Vehicle Collision
Narrative:
On 8/24/2014 at approximately 1736 hours the Maryland State Police
responded to a motor vehicle collision that occurred on N/B US Rt. 113 at MD Rt.
589, Berlin, Worcester County, Maryland.
The investigation revealed a 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle bearing
Maryland registration D45585, was traveling in the slow lane of N/B US Rt.113
in the area of MD Rt. 589. For unknown
reasons, the operator lost control of the motorcycle and traveled off the right
side of the roadway, striking the guardrail.
The operator succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The operator of the
motorcycle was identified as Keith Ray Lambden, 55 years of age of Salisbury,
MD.
The contributing factors of the collision are unknown at this time. The collision remains under investigation.
The
Maryland State Police investigators were assisted by the Worcester County
Sheriff’s Department and SHA. N/B US Rt.
113 was closed for approximately 4 hours.
