  1. Once upon a time, the police would stop to assist a disabled motorist. Now they use it as an excuse to "check your papers" and have a k( search you. If you pull of the road to use a cellphone legally, you are also subject to being questioned and "producing your papers".

  5. No sympathy for the speeders but why harass a guy at 6am with a broken down vehicle over 2 joints? Soon it would have only resulted in a citation anyway.

  9. LOL! I bet those guys thought the cops were going to HELP them. You know, the "serve" part of the "serve your ace up on a platter"? Be glad it wasn't a couple of women or your wife.. Could have been a rape in progress (but "unreported", of course) and a new girlfriend on the side.
We hear a lot about crime in Salisbury, but if we need two cops and an attack dog to bust a guy for a couple of joints, maybe we have TOO MANY cops....is this the BEST crime, the most dangerous felons, the most violent people they can come up with? Two guys with a joint apiece?
That was a LOT of police time and money for nothing. Uh, on a side note, did they catch those robbers on Church Street yet? Or are too busy looking for broken down cars, easy tickets and people who aren't going to be much trouble?
