WICOMICO BUREAU OF INVESTIGATIONS - PRESS RELEASE
INCIDENT: FIREARMS POSSESSION
DATE: May 6, 2014
LOCATION: 500 Block S. Maryland Ave., Delmar, MD
NARRATIVE:
On May 8, 2014 at approximately 1100 hours the Wicomico Sheriffs’ Office and the Maryland State Apprehension Team (MSAT) arrested Scarborough on an outstanding arrest warrant. As a result of evidence found during a search and seizure warrant conducted at Scarborough’s residence on May 6, 2014, the below listed charges were issued. The arrest occurred without incident. .

SUSPECT: Scarborough, Jocori Marece, AA/M 17 YOA, 500 Block of South Maryland Ave., Delmar, MD
CHARGES:
- Possession of a Firearm by a Minor
DISPOSITION: To be determined by a District Court Commissioner.
INVESTIGATING DETECTIVE: Detective Funk

ReplyDeleteIt is still a shame to see a life wasted. 17 and his whole life ahead of him. I am sure he didn't have a good parental role model or anyone to mentor him. 20 years in jail an he'll only be 37 when he gets out. I am sure he'll be worse when he gets out.

It was done that way on purpose Dumb@$$!! You obviously don't pay attention to these comments like this.
I must start by saying....I dont know either kid or their families! I also must admit I dont care for his FB posts and actions. And I think we should wait for trial to deem if he is innocent or guilty! HOWEVER in the past I have seem similar cases where the accuser gets caught and then claims rape. IF he did this, I think he should get maximum penalty allowed by law!!! And SERVE the entire sentence. On the other hand, if he is found innocent.... I believe her family should be responsible to repay the bond money and SHE should be exposed (regardless of her age) and should serve the maximum sentence he was facing! There seems to be only minimal charges (false statement) on the accuser but the accused persons life is still tainted even if found innocent. Fair is fair!
ReplyDelete8:03-I would be right with you except he's also been charged with 1st degree rape and 1st degree assault. This is more than a He Said She Said scenario. First degree charges can be filed against a defendant who engages in intercourse with another person without that person's consent, and who uses force or the threat of force. 1st degree also requires that the defendant either use a dangerous weapon during the course of the rape, inflict serious injury on the victim, or threaten the victim with serious injury or death.

There is absolutely no way in hell nor by anyone's stretch of the imagination that this was consensual, so get that out of your heads right now. A video shows him grabbing her. He's also been charged with 1st degree assault which means there was "serious physical injury" apparent/involved.
