Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley, who is considering a White House bid in 2016, is headed to Iowa next month.
Christina Freundlich, a spokeswoman for the Iowa Democratic Party, confirmed Thursday that O'Malley is scheduled to attend the party's Hall of Fame celebration honoring Iowa Sen. Tom Harkin on June 20 in Des Moines, Iowa.
O'Malley headlined Harkin's annual steak fry in 2012.
O'Malley also will be the keynote speaker at the Iowa Democratic state convention on June 21
