Good move Farmers Bank of Willards this branch was not that busy and i understand that the doors are not locked so people can get to their safe deposit boxes.
They should have closed the one near Rt. 50, there is a woman that works there and she is not pleasant to deal with at all. Stopped going to that one a long time ago because of that.
M&T Bank closed their North Pointe Branch on 04 04 2014. Hebron Saving Bank singed the contract last week to start construction on a second branch in Cambridge across US-50 from the Hyatt Regency.
First of all that isn't a picture of the main branch in Willards. The picture is that of the Pemberton Branch. Secondly the doors are not closed or locked from 9 to 4 Mon. thru Fri. The only change is that the teller operations were moved to Willards RT 50 branch. And thirdly no employees have lost their jobs. The bank has grown over the years and the Main branch is now going to be Administrative offices only. Hopefully this clears up any misunderstandings that are going around town.
ive used the one on pemberton dr for many years, and never had a problem with any of the employees there. i dont go inside often enough for any of them to know me personally, but when i do, i am always treated well.
I say after son chris took over the bank has grown too much! Thats why there once highly sought after bank stock went from 65 dollars per share down to around 10 dollars now. Daddy frank had the once wico county council president rusty molnar in his back pocket and he left him and chris holding the bag. Just ck there website on foreclosed property the bank is holding from salisbury to v.a. just like other places the old freindly hometown faces have been replaced with new.
I think Farmers Bank should close the little bank they have on Talbot ST in OC. Their website says it is only open from May to Sept. This location is a loser. I have been told it does not make money and when times are tough they should cut more expenses. (Also, why doesn't Farmers Bank list their Board of Directors on their website?)
That's an easy one, 9:58.. The population is increasing with "takers" on welfare & other free gov't programs. If your business does not cater to them, you are losing, because they outnumber the workers..
Kinda dumb to have two in same LITTLE town anyway isn't it?
ReplyDeleteI agree with 8:36...but have employees lost their jobs because of the closing?

ReplyDelete1:17 This, right here. Pemberton/Parsons branch is good people. If you've had problems there, you should look in the mirror to see the real problem.
ReplyDeleteHeard they were gonna call it "OBAMA-BANK" and if you show your Section 8 ID you get free money....

How is it that while the population increases virtually every business has difficulty surviving? One would think they would do better.
