Common Core is an Agenda 21 (U.N.) based curriculum that teaches sustainable development, zero-population philosophies and the dangers of humans impacting the environment. Over the course of a citizens educational years it will teach children what kind of action should be taken globally, nationally and locally by organizations of the United Nations System, Governments, and Major Groups. In order to adopt a global-type-thinking, an individual must be trained to give up their personal sovereignty and adopt phrases like “for the good of the whole”. A key step is to disregard the whole importance of basic human rights held in the Bill of Rights. A current Common Core assignment has Constitutionalists concerned for the blatant brainwashing against Bill of Rights.

Politics should not be in the education business....neither should the government.
ReplyDeleteMany years ago, certain areas produced more scientists, engineers, and doctors than other areas...and the US was ahead of everyone else....we went to the moon etc.
Since then, the government has been trying to improve the system and stuck their noses under the tent-flap....and it has been going downhill at an increasing rate ever since!
The teacher's unions haven't helped much - by preventing the firing of ineffective educators and increasing the costs with their bloated union infrastructure...and by contributing to the government interference.....
There needs to be a little violence against the people who force this on children.
ReplyDeleteWhere do you find this stuff? NOTHING like that has been presented to teachers in Common Core professional development. Nothing.
ReplyDeleteJust because the teachers here haven't been fed the propaganda doesn't mean it's not being done in more urban areas. Just wait a while, it will make it's way to the Shore sooner or later.
ReplyDeleteWhere in the high schools is Chemistry class being taught? Physics? Biology? Calculus? English Literature?
ReplyDeleteThese were common classes in the 50's & 60's, and got us to the moon!
Its up to the parents to instill good values and teaching to their children. In my family religion also plays a big part. I believe when your children are confronted by silly things the teachers try to teach them it's a great opportunity for you to explain the truth.
