Incident: WCSO Activity 13-14 March 2014
Location: Wicomico County
1. On13 March 2014 at 7:13 PM a deputy arrested Shawn Lawrence Alexander, 31 of Delmar, MD, as a fugitive from the State of Delaware. Alexander was wanted on theft and shoplifting charges from that state. Alexander was detained without bond pending extradition back to Delaware.
2. On14 March 2014 at 11:05 PM a deputy arrested April Frances Gibson, 28 of Salisbury, on a District Court Bench Warrant that was issued after Gibson failed to appear for a Driving Suspended case. Gibson was detained on a $5,000.00 bond.

Incident: Possession of Marijuana
Date of Incident: 15 March 2014
Location: Adventist Drive, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: 1. William Anthony Hinmon, 25, Salisbury, MD
2. Robert Arthur Jones, 61,Salisbury, MD
Narrative: On 15 March 2014 at 11:11 AM, a deputy stopped a vehicle after discovering that the vehicle’s registration had been suspended.The deputy then discovered that Jones’ privilege to drive had been revoked since 2007. The deputy subsequently recovered a jar from inside the vehicle that held what the deputy identified as marijuana. Jones denied knowledge of the marijuana as he was only borrowing the vehicle.
The vehicle’s owner,William Hinmon, arrived at the scene and admitted ownership of the jar. The deputy issued Hinmon a criminal citation for possession of marijuana.
Jones was charged on a traffic citation with driving while revoked.

Incident: Assault
Date of Incident: 15 March 2014
Location: 7000 block of Crofton Drive, Parsonsburg, MD
Suspect: 1. Craig Montrez Ames, 39,Parsonsburg, MD
2. Parris Jewel Burton, 22, Parsonsburg,MD
Narrative: On 15 March 2014 at 9:11 AM, a deputy responded for a reported altercation at a residence in the 7000 block of Crofton Drive in Parsonsburg. The deputy learned that a 22 year old female, Parris Burton,become involved in a verbal altercation with her step-father, Craig Ames that turned physical. Both partied accused each other of an assault.
Both parties continued to engage each other in a verbal altercation while in the presence of the deputy.
The deputy placed both Ames and Burton under arrest. Upon presentation to the District Court Commissioner,both were released on Personal Recognizance.

Location: 25000 block of State Street, Sharptown, MD
Suspect: Jason A. Cantville, 26,Sharptown, MD
Narrative: On 15 March 2014 at 6:55 PM a deputy responded to a residence in the 25000 block of State Street in Sharptown for a reported altercation. Upon arrival, the deputy discovered that Jason Cantville had assaulted his mother during an argument. The deputy observed signs of injury during the investigation.
The deputy placed Cantville under arrest and transported him to the Central Booking Unit. Upon presentation to the District Court Commissioner, Cantville was detained on a bond of$3,000.00.

Incident: Theft / Possession of CDS
Date of Incident: 17 March 2014
Location: 2000 block of N. Salisbury Blvd., Salisbury, MD
Suspect: John Mark Jones, 19, Delmar,MD
Narrative: On 17 March 2014 at 3:36 PM a deputy arrested John Jones in connection with the theft of money from a residence in Delmar MD that reportedly occurred on 8 March 2014. Upon arrest the deputy discovered that Jones was in possession of both marijuana and prescription pills that weren’t prescribed to him.
The deputy placed Jones under arrest for the theft and CDS charges and transported him to the Central Booking Unit. Upon presentation to the District Court Commissioner, Jones was detained on a bond of $3,000.00.
