Put Your Seat Trays In The Upright Position, There's More To Come Tomorrow
The story that brought in over 200 comments the other day is about to get revived. Salisbury News has unearthed MORE evidence and we plan to bring it to light again tomorrow morning. I wonder what's taking the rest of the local media so long. Oh, that's right. The Chamber of Commerce and local businesses only want them to tell you good stories about Salisbury or they might lose their advertisers. We'll See You Tomorrow.
3:28, No JT, it is news. You wouldn't know what news is or investigative reporting if it smacked you in the face. Are you still writing about me JT? That man crush must be really bad, eh?
I agree 3:36 but I have yet to meet a pilot or co-pilot that wants to die in a plane crash. His actions were reckless and lacked common sense, but the real risk/danger of crashing was minimal.
I could care less of what the real risk was. rules are put in place for a reason and he thinks he is above those rules and can do whatever he wants due to his ego. Regardless of what the RISK was, there was an unnecessary risk added because of this a hole.
I worked at Piedmont for a short time a few years back. None of this should surprise anyone. I remember seeing one of their pilots on work release picking up trash. Another one spent weekends in jail for public intoxication. The list goes on and on. I was told this particular pilot and his friends made their own beer in the guys garage. It was quite the party house I'm told.
I would bet good money that the folks on here that are saying this was no big deal are the same ones that would say that the speed cams are good and everyone should obey the law. I can't stand the liberal way of thinking, they need some serious mental health help.
I am a republican and firmly believe that there are much more pressing issues that need to be dealt such as the sad state our city and county are in. It was an unfortunate incident that was dealt wit. The pilot is no longer flying planes. Worry about what you can change, not what happened in the past. Whether we knew about it or don't know about it, it was handled appropriately unlike the WWTP.
5:16. Yeah. Law abiding citizens need mental health help? I didn't think obeying the law was reserved for just liberals. I guess Republicans get a pass.
343....Try telling that to the families that had to bury their loved ones that died on that Colgan plane. If I remember correctly it was due to incompedence and it crashed into a neighborhood.
I believe the point of this whole issue revolves around the incompetence of our local newspapers and TV stations who did not cover this story..we know the pilot was correctly dealt with...the insider coverups and outright bias in our Local MSM is the point....advertisrrs better beware...cause we dont like it....if this is the only place to find the truth then our msm and thier advertisers will suffer...
Colgan was due to fatigue and pilot error. Doubtful that with pilot wanted to die either. If you are scared of flying, then don't. Look at the statistics, it is much safer than driving.
airplanes are inherently dangerous. think about it! you are fly at 50K feet in essentially what amounts to a beer can. but most accidents happen in the home. the pilot was dealt with accordingly. piedmont sucks. and the lsm will never tell you these things! so what else is new?
Joe, I think it is pitiful that JT is sooooo obcessed with you and your site. Maybe he should spend his time with his family or improving his own site! And what's even funnier is that he has stooped to asking for donations! LOL
If I were the DT, WBOC,WMDT I would be embarrassed that I had neglected this story but I would also be more embarrassed to run it now after it's been on this blog for 2 days.
I want to hear the dirt on Laura Mitchell!
ReplyDeleteIt's not news, that's why no one is covering it. Plain and simple.

ReplyDelete3:28, I find putting peoples lives at stake because of ego and ignorance, news worthy. You are one of the ignorant.

ReplyDeleteI believe the situation was handled. The points careers are over. No one was injured.
ReplyDeleteI think that Ed Drapers real name is
ReplyDeleteDick Whitman, he was an advertising exec before he became a pilot.
