MSNBC's Rachel Maddow blames George Bush for Ukraine

On Monday, MSNBC host Rachel Maddow told Andrea Mitchell that Bush administration policies in the Middle East are to blame for practically everything, including the current crisis in Ukraine, Newsmax reported.

“The decisions of our generation on national security are determined more than anything by what the George W. Bush administration did with that 9-year war in Iraq and, alongside it, a 13-year war in Afghanistan that’s still going on," Maddow said. "And the American people are against those wars."

“Those are the determinative constraints for our thinking about everything,” she added, “from Crimea, to Syria, to what the overall size of the U.S. military is.”

  8. Spoken like a true gentleman!!! I mean lady. Look the only blame here is the socities behaving this way. Stop finger pointing and giving those who live like this an avenue for blame.

  9. What you guys can't seem to comprehend is that this indeed is a game of chess, not checkers. The scenario we found ourselves in today was indeed set up by movements made some time back. You are foolish if you don't believe that the feasible options, including military, that we have now weren't directly influenced by major decade long wars in two other countries. This by no means absolves Obama from responsibility; he'll be judged by the outcome of his actions today which we will see in the years to come. That goes for everything from the current situation in Ukraine, to health care, to taxes etc.
