ORLANDO, Fla. - Authorities say a man accidentally shot himself in a possible road rage incident on Interstate 4 on Monday.
Orlando police said officers responded to a call of a shooting at the ramp at I-4 and Princeton Street at around 11:30 a.m. Video shows crime scene tape roping off a white car on the roadway.
According to a driver, he was traveling on I-4 when another driver showed a gun in what he told police was a road rage incident.
The victim, identified as 36-year-old Richard Coles, then said during the altercation he accidentally shot himself in the leg.
Hewas taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
