Call came into 911 around 11:15 a.m. that shots were fired. Police made entry and found three dead, one found near a gun and ammunition.

ReplyDeleteColumbia Mall is a "Gun Free Zone." It's really nice when they advertise to someone intent on committing mass fatalities, they are guaranteed free reign until someone else shows up to stop them.

ReplyDeleteFox news said he had a shotgun. Just like uncle Joe Biden told people that's all they needed, "get yourself a shotgun, you don't need pistols." The irony isn't funny, but this proves uncle Joe's theory is just as he is, clueless. They also said there were lot's of people taken to the hospital. Of the three reported dead, one is said to be the shooter.

ReplyDeleteMost likely this young man is himself a victim as these shooters more often than not are. They are victims of the public school system and politicians and the rest of the democrats who push kids on drugs so they can label them and then get adjusted state test scores.
And the crazy part is we are so damn worried about where sex offenders sleep at night with having the S.O.R. and we have nut cases like this and others like them running around with guns killing people in record numbers in schools, movies and now malls. But hey at least with the Md. S.O.R. we know where the Sex Offenders sleep at night.

ReplyDeleteI am just a concerned citizen who is fed up with this States waste of spending tons of money for useless programs that does nothing to protect people, more less kids as 99% of sex offenders are known to the victim. So maybe instead of wasting $$ on a worthless registry. Maybe have a family / friend registry and then you can protect your own from your own.
People, if you have a child who is prescribed SSRI (Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors)... Go get educated, and get them off.

ReplyDeleteColumbia is my hometown and if you were a pioneer, you were fortunate to grow up in a very unique and inclusive society. These events, which have become the norm, are simply devastating. Of course, people in general will politicize everything to forward their agenda.
ReplyDelete9:58-You are right. It's so sad and infuriating at the same time, that people can't just take a leisurely shopping trip anymore. I watched Channel 11 coverage and it was heartbreaking hearing the eyewitness stories of those interviewed.
ReplyDeleteAre you familiar with Miss Nancy Smith, Blandair Farm? She was a legend in her time. She refused to sell her 300 acre farm to Rouse when they were developing Columbia. Some of the streets bordering her property are even dead ended, in the hopes that one day she would relent and sell. She didn't. She died without signing a will and property went to some of her cousins who sold it to Howard County.
