A Comment Worthy Of A Post 1-10-14

Anonymous has left a new comment on your post "Real Unemployment Rate Of 11.5% Means Difference T...":

Was over in the UK for Holiday, and they don't bother to sugarcoat the economic news for the states, their figures say that the US is in actually a Depression worse than the one in the 20's-30's, and don't understand why citizens are not rioting or protesting for change in government.

  1. It's called the NSA.Sporatic upheavels will be targeted because of such small protest groups.Hundreds, and even thousands can be isolated and controlled.Millions cannot be.

  2. It's troubling, I agree.

Voters don't care anymore. That old saying about not discussing politics or religion has taken hold and with it the allowance of a bureaucracy that is working to control us.

    God Help us.

  4. It is just as bad as the last Depression. The liberal news won't report it. Its a shame that you have to go to foreign news services to find out just how bad it is here in the U.S.
I work with the unemployed and I talk to people from all over the U.S. Do you realize there are tent cities all over the country? There is a large one in Camden NJ and in Northern NJ that includes the Hurricane Sandy victims who have never had a home since the storm.
Where is that reported? Our church is helping the homeless right here in Salisbury. You would be shocked when you see that not all of them are unemployed. Most of them are underemployed and can't afford any decent housing or shelter. Some of them came from upper middle class families and lost their homes or jobs because of the economy.
Where is Bless our Children for these people? This is a depression, and we have been in a depression since mid 2007. That's when the claims for unemployment started to pickup and there has been no let up since.
Bush started this, and Obama accelerated it!
I totally blame both parties for the free trade deals that brought us to this situation! Even in bad times we always had manufacturing to fall back on, but not anymore. It was foolish to believe we could survive on a service economy.

  5. I too have lots of family/friends over seas. It is amazing what their respective countries say about the US. It is quite embarrassing. I must say the foreign press names our states and local leaders often.

  9. Hey 6:31, Your are the idiot. Bread lines exist and most lines have gone underground because you no longer have to stand in line for benefits. You can file on line or just pick up the phone. The problems are still there and just as bad. Technology has just made it more invisible. Maybe you need to think before you make stupid comments like this you idiot!!!!!

  11. Thank you Joe!
That's the point I was trying to make. Technology helps to hide some of the true problems that are now reality.

  12. There has officially been 17 times more coverage of the Christie scandal than the last 6 months of the IRS scandal. Most people would call that a diversion tactic.
