Members of the Somerset County Sheriff's Office head up a warrant sweep detail at the Somers Place Apartments in Princess Anne. On 12-20-13 deputies from the Sheriff's Office, Troopers from the Princess Anne Barrack, and officers from the Princess Anne Police Department raided an apartment at the Somers Place Housing Development, apprehending five subjects wanted on drug trafficking charges, and made another on view arrest for drug trafficking during the sweep. Attached are photos of the defendants who have all been charged with cds possession with the intent to deliver, intent to deliver cds within 1000 feet from a school, possession of cds, not marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Each defendant had been held on a $200,000 bond pending court actions.

ReplyDeleteThis is a clear reason why we need a Public Violent Drug Registry so when these people get a slap on the wrist and get out in 1-2 years we can track them like sex offenders and protect our Kids from these animals just waiting to sell them drugs on their way to school and end up turning them out on the streets as slaves to the drugs.
ReplyDeleteJoe, What happened to the Jones guy from Salisbury that was a Heroine dealer, why didn't he get any time? Why does money talk, when this drug needs to be taken off the streets? Anyone else would have had jail time. It's not right he needed at least 10 years in prison for selling drugs out of his store. He still has his store open. What's wrong with the courts, do they go by how much money you have?

I was informed that the S.O.R. was costing so much funding and manpower and not really as they had hoped and they did not think more registries would be anymore good than what the S.O.R. is doing at this point other than costing funding and manpower ???? Makes you wonder if the S.O.R. was really only about the votes ?? If it was not only about votes why not expand to more violent registries so we know when violent offenders move near us and we can be emailed about them and protect our families ???
