  15. Did anyone watch the Council meeting tonight. Public should take note of our three conservative council members not voting to re-elect Matt Holloway as President. Both Prettyman and Hall voted for him. Surprise, Surprise. They are all in Pollitt's and Strasburg's pocket. It is an affront to the citizens that Hall is vice-president when he wasn't even voted in to office by the people. Thought Prettyman's mantra was everything she does is "for the people". Seems like she and Hall are carrying water for the Dems. Interesting that after more than a decade on council Prettyman apparently can't get the votes to be Prez. Can't wait for Bob to bring some true conservative values to this county.

  16. Who would not disagree with O'Malley and Pollitt? They are both radical liberals and only know how to fix problems one way and that is spending more money on the problem which usually makes the problem worse.

  17. 8:55, yes I watched the meeting tonight and was so pleased to see that Bartkovich was a stand up act and voted against M Hollaway. He has been a disappointment. I liked the idea of having a younger mind on the council but his lack of experience has been shown through his dedication to the executive. I'm so surprised that Prettyman didn't go for Pres but it must have been she didn't have the votes otherwise for all the years she has served she should have been a given.

  18. Three peas in a pod: Pollitt, O'malley, Obama. Let's make a change for the better in 2014.

  19. Yea!!!! Go Bob!!! We need to get rid of that group that THINKS they run the county. We know Prettyman is going. Need to oust Hall and get someone VOTED in by thinking people. Remember Hall is Mackes best buddy so we know who is controlling him. M. Holloway needs to remember who his party is or he needs to go too. I agree with earlier post that it is very telling who supported him for President. It is a coalition Strausburg has worked very hard to put together to support the Ricky Pollitt/O'Malley for President agenda. What a joke.

    Clean it up Bob!

  20. If it is true that the first thing Culver will do is fire Mackes, he not only has my vote but many, many others. Pollitt doesn't have the backbone to do it We need a true executive who will deal with an issue head-on instead of pussy-footing around. How refreshing would that be people?

  21. I can honestly say that Gail Bartkovich is a class act. While serving on the Wicomico County Council she has 'toed the rope' like none other. She is always prepared, well educatated, and when the imperical evidence shows that something isn't right - she always trys to steer to the correct course.

As one who has closely followed local politics - Gail Bartkovich is a stand-out. GREAT JOB GAIL!!

  22. 9:16pm Why would Prettyman be as you say "a given?"
She is not running again, so I see no point in her wanting to be President.

  24. 9:16 - as far as Prettyman, you reap what you sow. She is not a peacemaker - it is no secret that she's a problem on the Council. Would have liked to see Gail finish out her career as President. She did a great job and maintained her professionalism.

  25. Bob has my vote, he is so nice and pleasant and always greets people. Where as The Allen Dummy has only one thing in mind and that is to just keep smiling while stabbing us Wicomico Citizens in the back.

  26. The question is will the voters want a man who could bring needed change to the county or stay with the same tax and spend, old non- growth policies of current?

  27. We need Bob and a good conservative council.

  28. Go get'em Bobby Wish I could vote Send me an absentee ballot LOL

  29. Bob has my support and my vote. Now, here comes real change and hope we all can believe in!!

  30. In the DT article Matt Holloway said he has been meeting with Jake Day, wonder who is driving?

    ReplyDelete
  31. I hope it is Matt! Dumb Jake doesn't realize he isn't above the law. He needs to answer for his behavior.

  32. Those two are birds of the same feather MH & JD.

  33. Matt Holloway and Hall are both RINO's. Those meetings with Pollitt (not sure about those with Day) are behind closed doors, and other members of the Council are not invited to attend.

Because she has an entire year to serve and anyone in their right mind would want to end their final year on the council as President or Vice President. Ms. Prettyman likes exposure so she would love the position.

You my friend are one of the low informed.

  37. I think John Cannon should run at large. He has been snooping around several events so we know he is up to something.

  38. Matt Holloway is an at large candidate and he represents all people in Wicomico County. I have tried to call him numerous times and he refuses to answer his phone.

  39. Maybe John Cannon should run at large again.
