The ACLU is calling on the city police department to more carefully monitor so called stop and frisk tactics.
The group has accused police of failing to keep track of how officers do their job.
The ACLU obtained search and arrest figures from the department under the Freedom of Information Act and found that last year there were more than 123,000 instances of people being stopped and searched.

This and many other violations of the Constitution need to stop.... it seems ever since 9/11.. true Americans have become criminals because we allowed them to open our borders and government to marxism its here.. ....they're doing everything they can too spy on us ...listen to us... search us..xray us ...restrict us..monitor us..try too shut us up.. investigate us..divide us .. track us ....disarm us...tax us..fee us...scare us..lie to us..deceive us...all for our own safety...yea right...not thisVET... I don't like or agree with everything the ACLU does myself, but, that is to be expected when they fight for EVERYBODY'S rights, not just the ones we approve of or like. Even yours.
