SUSPENDED STUDENT MAY BE EXPELLED FOR REST OF THE YEAR FOR PLAYING WITH TOY GUN…IN HIS OWN YARD

A suspended seventh-grade student in Virginia Beach, Va., could be expelled for the rest of the school year for shooting an airsoft gun with a friend in his yard as they waited for the bus to come.

Khalid Caraballo, 12, and his friend, Aidan, were suspended for “possession, handling and use of a firearm” because they “shot two other friends who were with them while playing” with the airsoft guns, WAVY-TV reported.

  5. All part of the total control agenda...trying to make kids so scared of "guns"...even toys...so they will never pick one up--I bet that little boy with the "gun" shaped pop-tart is scared to ever even go "bang" again!. Let these a$$holes come to my backyard when my kids, my husband and myself are shooting our REAL guns for target practice...they will just love it!

  6. Absolutely ridiculous, they were on private property
playing with toys for God's sake. How did the school even learn of it ? The only thing that makes a little sense is if one of the boys aimed the gun at the bus driver and s/he reported it thinking it was perhaps a real gun, but then if it still had the orange tip on the driver should have known it was a toy,
