Treyon Parker |
On September 21, 2013, at approximately 1:30 p.m. Ocean City police responded to Continental Cycles at 7203 Coastal Highway in reference to the theft of a scooter. Upon their arrival, officers learned that an employee had noticed a scooter was
missing approximately a half hour before calling the police. The employee informed the officer that during that time, they had located the scooter in the area of 75th Street with a blanket draped over it and the registration plate and key missing.
During the investigation, officers quickly determined the suspect’s as: Treyon Miles Parker, 22, of Laurel, DE. When officers located Parker, they discovered that he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. During a search, officers found prescription Xanax pills on his person. Officers then were able to locate the registration plate and key to the scooter nearby.
Parker was charged by Ocean City police with theft ($1,000 to $10,000), possession of Xanax without a prescription and unlawful taking of a motor vehicle. Parker was seen by a Maryland District Court Commissioner and was held on $8000 bond. Parker was later transferred to Worcester County Jail.
They only lock him up because he's black.
ReplyDelete1253. Waaaaaah
ReplyDelete1253 I hope that was sarcasm that isn't apparent. They put him in jail because he stole a scooter, had illegal prescription drugs and a warrant. Being black has nothing to do with it.
ReplyDeleteIt was a comment to irritate.
ReplyDeleteLook what they did to VA beach now they trash OC.
ReplyDeleteHe's locked up because he broke the law and couldn't post bail.
ReplyDeleteDo not fear someone for their skin color. If they find out that you fear them and they are a bad person they will use it to their advantage and frighten you at every turn. Instead hold out your hand and say "Hello and Have a Nice Day." It is very difficult to be intimidating to someone who is nice to you. But to just fear someone because they are different makes no sense and robs you of the chance to make a friend. Yes... I know some people will do it anyway but they are the losers. If someone comes up to my car in traffic on foot and they are the same color as me, I lock my door. I lock my door because I fear they are in traffic on foot for the wrong reasons.. not because they are a different color than me. We have become weak in will and frightened of each other. Do we all have stars on our bellies?
