Aaron Alexis, deceased, is believed to be responsible for the shootings at the Washington Navy Yard, in the Southeast area of Washington, DC, around 8:20 a.m. on September 16, 2013. The FBI is asking for the public's assistance with any information regarding Alexis.

    I have more information now. I now know that he was ex-military reserve, trained and qualified to carry and shoot weapons, has had a background check, and legally qualified to own and shoot guns and buy all the ammo he wanted.

    All this background check, weapon type, "looks like an assault weapon but really isn't" lawmaking has done what?

    Can Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and the NAACP admit at least that this was a bad guy, when we can admit that there are good and bad in all races and sexes and we need to come together as Americans. The closeness we all had after 911 needs to be recognized every day. This was an attack on our American defenders.
