The Supreme Court rules unconstitutional a provision of the Voting Rights Act that determines which states -- primarily in the South -- need federal oversight of their election laws. From Fox News
The irony is staggering. Paula Deen gets fired for using a word at a time when and a place where the word was acceptable, but regulations designed to suppress the minority vote are fine now.
More non white babies born last year than white babies. Someday whites may regret this move because they will be the minority than gets their vote suppressed.
This is good. A state may now require a voter ID in order for a person to vote. Now maybe we can Democrat voter fraud.
