  3. Let's see a full accounting of all of the local "churches" and see the salaries of the "pastors". How much money that goes in the collection plate actually makes it to the local needy?

Burns me up to see these "pastors" driving around in Lincoln Navigators, with fully paid health insurance, paid vacations, and "churches" with a full time paid staff of 8 or more, with a human resources director and $300,000 sound/video systems.

"churches" should be TAXED unless they can prove 90% or more of money taken in actually goes to help the less fortunate!

  4. 90% ? u must not know about church finances moocher!!!

  5. most churches don't operate this way. there will always be exceptions in all areas of life. don't paint every church with the same brush.
by the way; sounds like you may think you have reached perfection. i realize you're not a "ministry" and don't get the tax exempt status of churches and other charities, but you sound like you have a major chip on your shoulder. just curious.
being part of a church family is a choice and no one is made to do this.
thanks for posting the info for us.

    1. Churches prey on the helpless just to make them feel like they're part of something. Kind of like what gangs do. Then they take your money. Kind of like what gangs do.

  6. If you are considering remodeling and take out anything please donate it to the Restore in Salisbury. Instead of perfectly good windows, appliance, cabinets, chairs, etc ending up in the local landfil it is repurposes items at a low cost and helps to fund building homes as well

  7. Susan B Komen is one of the worst offenders--the CEO makes a fortune AND a hefty portion of the donations goes to Planned Parenthood primarily to fund abortion of minority babies. THATS RIGHT--Margaret Sanger continues to "eliminate the weeds"

  8. money is Never taken; it's freely given.

    1. Sure it's taken. Try not giving and see how you are shunned.

  9. March of dimes also directs money to tests on animals (so another reason to not support them, a mice is NOT a good comparison to a baby!) And the salvation army has turned away gays from their homeless shelters because it "goes against their religion". Wtf happened to compassion for the needy?

Also, PETA has some unseemly tactics so basically any other animal rights organization is good to donate to in comparison.

  10. 3:44 not to our governor and president...that's taking if I ever saw the definition.

    Try not paying your taxes.....

  11. Grace, you are incorrect about the Salvation Army. They do not turn away gay people.

Minority moms are less likely to choose abortion. Babies are born with no one to support them financially except the taxpayers.

  13. Just do your own research before you give!

  14. On United Way, do some research and you will find that not much of the money % wise goes to the non-profits which they claim they are an umbrella for!
Last time I checked it was less than 10%!
All those people blindly giving $1.00 from their paycheck each week, if they only knew!!

  15. Please tell me the information on good will is wrong. If not then why is it one of the few places our local court systems let people do community service. That doesn't sound right. Maybe our judges don't know or are on the take.

  16. I thought community service was a way of fulfilling a legal obligation to the court for the good if the community, not to make a profit for someone.
