Well, it looks like Jake has one vote...probably his own. Thanl you, Debbie for years of humble, difficult, and awesome leadership, and I will be voting for you for another term because I know I am getting value and representation with my vote! It will be good to see you back, and with Joe as Mayor, well, we can really make Salisbury a GREAT place!
Jake Day is a tree hugger. Doesn't he sit on the Planning & Zoning Committee -- or didn't he used to and then resign? He is good friends with Bill McCain & Gary Mackes, enough said.
Glad to hear it. This city clearly needs a change in leadership and Jake is a capable, driven young man.

Yes, we do need a change in leadership. But, I've had about enough of the "driven young man' syndrome.
Everyone needs to start somewhere but not at the top. Let them find mentors and actually learn something before given the reins to something they have no clue how to manage.
These times do not warrant taking unnecessary risks with unproven and untried upstarts.
No offense to the young man we need experience with a proven track record.
If Joe can run a business and RETIRE at 40 years of age, that would mean he is extremely lucky or he knows a thing or two about success.
I'm tired of sucking hind tit. Let Joe get in there and shake things up and see if some money doesn't fall off the trees.
I ain't too proud to pick up what he has knocked down. lol.
Seriously, how many years has Joe been plugging away in Salisbury? How many challenges has been thrown at him and he has WON each one?
Who in their right mind would toss that aside to take a chance on not just this young man, but anyone else?
Simply put, what has anyone else done for Salisbury? And that would include the incumbent. Who was another "driven young man".
I had Jake Day for a class at Salisbury University. Great guy, down to earth, impressive resume', and seems like he could do a lot for the city. Wishing him luck!
Who is Jake Day?? Flunky of BT or the Dream Team?

ReplyDeleteDebbie does a great job. She gives a lot more that she gets paid for.
ReplyDeleteWe will vote to keep her.
Is he related to Michael Day?

In flip-flops.
Jake Day is on the P&Z Commission.
ReplyDeleteI'll keep voting for Debbie Campbell, thank you. She saved us from Ireton's tax hike. She's always thinking like a taxpayer.
