KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) — Afghan officials say joint US-Afghan base has been attacked in eastern Afghanistan.
Blasts sounded inside the military airfield at the edge of Jalalabad city early Sunday morning. Afghan officials briefed on the situation say helicopters were firing down into the base at what appeared to be militant gunmen inside. The officials spoke anonymously because fighting was still going on and details were unclear.
The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack in an email to reporters.
Obama most likely ordered this attack. He is a radical muslim and a terrorist.
ReplyDeleteSo, now we have to depend on the Afghan News? Where are our reporters? Oh, they're over here blogging about how cool Obama is...
ReplyDeleteThey (the Taliban) learned a great lesson from our exit from Vietnam. DON'T let us just leave with our tail between our legs, oh no. CHASE us out. And our "leaders", all the way up to the president and his top generals, are only concerned about how they look. The young men and women who won't be home (ever) or who will be eating Christmas dinner in a VA hospital (while they learn to use their prosthetics) are just the "cost of war". But it ain't a war. Its an illegal operation condoned by Congress and millions of cheering dumb ass Americans who can't wait to start chanting "USA! USA! USA!" every chance they get.
