Kerry Coy About Future

Senator John Kerry, a Democrat from Massachusetts, was coy this morning when asked in the Capitol about his plans for the future. It has been speculated that Kerry might be a leading candidate to take over for Secretary of State Hillary Clinton or even for Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta.

"No comments on anything," Senator Kerry said, brushing off this reporter as he walked away chatting with embattled Senator Bob Menendez of New Jersey. He was asked specifically about whether he was going to be the next secretary of state.

"No discussions," Kerry added. It was not clear whether Kerry meant "no discussions" about the new job, or whether he meant he wanted "no discussions" with this reporter.

  1. Of course it's going to be Kerry. Not many people are waiting in line to join up with the cesspool that's the obama admin. Kerry is the perfect fit. Lies flow very easily from his mouth. That's the number 1 criteria for a position in this admin.

  2. House of cards is falling apart if the best person for either job is John Kerry. He's afraid of his own shadow the coward. Him and Jane Fonda can hold hands and sing Kumbaya as Rome burns.

  3. Either positon would work for the UN chick, Rice. She's already proven what an obedient house slave she is by waddling around on TV lying and covering for the admin.

  4. So that's what the country has come to 12:00? Calling a decorated Vietnam Vet and war hero a coward? You are pathetic and exactly what is wrong with some of the dimwits that call themselves Americans. Bet you have never served one minute in a war zone.

  5. I'm not 12:00, 2:17 but just because Kerry was a vet and a "war hero" does not negate the fact that he embellished his military accomplishments.
You do know that he attempted to launch his political career as an anti Vietnam candidate who protested the war and when that fell flat he switched tactics and became a "war hero." He is not only a coward he's a lying one and a disgrace to the honorable men and women who serve. You call it what it is. He attempted and quite possibly turned people against returning vets by his protesting actions.

  6. Kerry's anti war rants were recorded and played over and over in the cells of the Vietnam POW's.
He's a coward of the worst kind. While his fellow Americans were still in Vietnam he turned on them.

  7. He hates the military, so lets hope he's not sec of defense. Imo, he'd be a fool to abandon his senate seat for anything else. He is, after all, stupid!
