O’Malley Touts Gambling Measure In New TV Ad

Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley (D), who has never been a strong proponent of gambling, is appearing in a new television ad supportingthe expansion plan on the ballot known as Question 7.
In the ad, O’Malley touts the state’s investment in its schools and seeks to rebut an attack from opponents that there’s no guarantee additional gambling revenue will flow to Maryland schools.

  5. 1:59 I agree. If O'Malley supports it somehow we will get screwed. All the money that the schools were to get from the lottery were diverted to the general fund.

  6. I don't trust any politicians enough to vote for it. Who is Harrah's paying off?? They'll have all the money spent before a single dime goes to education. Wasn't the states' (all of them) lottery proceeds supposed to go to education?? Look at the back of a lottery ticket. Maryland Sports Authority. Baseball, football, soccer, whatever sport school???

  7. Nothing for education. It will be deposited there so it can be forwarded to the general fund, then forwarded to the politician's pockets. Absolutely not, no, negative, ain't gonna happen.

  9. You conservatives will lose every election this year, You will lose on the dream act, you will lose on gay marriage, you will lose on gambling, you will lose on re-districting, and Cardin and Obama will be re-elected. I hope you all decide to move somewhere else, like maybe North Dakota, we have no need or ignorant people in MD.
