WE'VE MOVED

Salisbury News is excited to announce we have relocated our Offices. While we're still located at my building at 300 W. Main Street, we're no longer on the main floor at street level.

For those of you who have visited our building, every one knows it's huge. There are offices on the second and third floor as well.

We were recently approached by a company wanting to rent the entire first floor and I felt it was time to encourage another new business to the Downtown Plaza.

In the very near future you'll see a new Upscale Pawn Shop similar to the ones you see on TV. We'll update you once they are closer to opening their doors as they have a proven track record all across the state of Maryland and elsewhere.

  4. anonymous 9:03 they can park in lot 15 just like every one else, for now. There's the 2 hour parking lot as well as the infamous Jim Ireton Parking Garage that neer gets used. Elect me as the next Mayor and I'll do everything I can to eliminate the parking meters in most of Downtown.

  7. It must be nice to have an office with a kitchen next to it. One day I'd like to take a tour of that building. It seems just as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside.

  13. anonymous 9:48, Thank You. We are walking the walk.

I have had the pleasure of having conversations with Palmer Gillis and have become very excited about his new project with Feldman's.

The more business we can encourage Downtown the better. It made no sense taking up all that space when someone could start a brand new business in a great location and do well.

This business will employ quite a few people and bring much needed tax dollars to the City.

We felt is BEST to provide RETAIL space on the first floor and offices above. I really believe that's what Downtown needs more of.

anonymous 9:45, that's a good question. There are around 30 rooms, excluding bathrooms and such. Each room/office is huge. When you walk through this building you can easily get lost, ask anyone who has been in here.

Many do not realize that we even extend behind the opportunity shop. There are 4 kitchens in this building too, not to mention 3 beautiful apartments.

We have also worked a deal out for a Law Firm to take up most of the second and third floor too.

  20. I was hoping to stop by there today and get a tee shirt. I was there before and could see them through the window but you were out which is ok with me because it was a Saturday and you were probably spending some quality time with family or covering a story. Will you be there today?
