FREDERICK, Md. (AP) - Frederick County homeowners may be getting some property tax relief in the form of $100 checks.
The Frederick News-Post (http://bit.ly/OoAA7z ) reports that county commissioners were poised to vote Thursday on whether to refund $6.7 million in surplus revenue by sending $100 to each homeowner.
Republican Commissioner David Gray opposes the plan. He says it's just a costly form of politicking by Republican board president and gubernatorial hopeful Blaine Young.
