MAYOR IRETON WILL NOT BE REPRESENTED IN LAWSUIT WITH TAXPAYER DOLLARS

We have been patiently waiting for Jim Ireton to respond to our lawsuit against him. Normally Ireton would have 30 days to respond but he asked for an extension and we kindly agreed to extend it for another 30 days.

Yesterday was his final day to respond and at 4:25 PM his attorney William Hall finally delivered documents to the Court House stating he would be representing him.

So what does this mean, it means the City Council DENIED his request to represent him with legal council and rightfully so. We filed a lawsuit against Mr. Jim Ireton for a PERSONAL phone call. The Council recognized it as such and now Jim will have to pay out of pocket to defend his slanderous remarks.

PUBLISHERS NOTES: I stand corrected in this article. The City Council had no say in this matter whatsoever. I hope the Council can forgive me for this mistake.
