Jim Furman, CEO of Tarheel Capital, is one of Wendy's biggest franchise owners (he has 86 locations), and he's making his support for Chick-fil-A known.
This morning, several of his Wendy's locations in North Carolina put up signs that read, "We stand with Chick-fil-A," reports the L.A. Times.
At least one of his South Carolina restaurants did the same, according to WBTV 3.
The signs were taken down a few hours after they went up.

Which engine did he have great valves in?
I've always loved Wendy's. It has been voted The CLEANEST amongst the fast food restaurant chains. In our case, it's because there's never anybody there...and with a prime location across from the college.

Wendys, Afraid you don't have my support-----you should have stood up "in the beginning" of the contraversary---Seems to me I "smell something fishy" here with your recent advertising of support
ReplyDeleteThe local Wendy's did not support Chick-Fil-a becuse they have several managers that are gay working for them here on the shore. They only want to sell burgers and be left out of the controversy.

So these "gay managers" expect everyone to stand up for their rights when it comes to issues important to the gay community but when it comes to everyone's right to free speech and freedom to express opposing opinions they think it's a controversy?
What an intolerant, biased, distorted way of thinking!
Well said 12:42. You nailed it. The hypocrisy is breathtaking.
