Willard Mitt Romney

His full Name is: Willard Mitt Romney

He was Born: March 12, 1947 and is 65 years old.

His Father: George W. Romney, former Governor of the State of Michigan

He was raised in Bloomfield Hills , Michigan

He is Married to Ann Romney since 1969; they five children.

Education: B.A. from Brigham Young University ,

J.D. and M.B.A. from Harvard University

Working Background:

After high school, he spent 30 months in France as a Mormon missionary.

After going to both Harvard Business School and Harvard Law School simultaneously, he passed the Michigan bar exam.

In 1984, he co-founded Bain Capital a private equity investment firm, one of the largest such firms in the United States .

In 1994, he ran for US Senator of Massachusetts and lost to Ted Kennedy.

He was President and CEO of the 2002 Winter Olympic Games.

In 2002, he was elected Governor of the State of Massachusetts where he eliminated a 1.5 billion deficit.

Some Interesting Facts about Romney:

Bain Capital, starting with one small office supply store in Massachusetts , turned it into the big box store Staples; there are now over 2,000 stores employing 90,000 people.

Bain Capital also worked to perform the same kinds of business miracles again and again, with companies like Domino's, Sealy, Brookstone, Weather Channel, Burger King, Warner Music Group, Dollarama, Home Depot Supply, and many others.

He was an unpaid volunteer campaign worker for his dad's gubernatorial campaign 1 year.

He was an unpaid intern in his dad's governor's office for eight years.

He was an unpaid bishop and stake president of his church for ten years.

He was an unpaid President of the Salt Lake Olympic Committee for three years.

He took no salary and was the unpaid Governor of Massachusetts for four years.

He gave his entire inheritance from his father to charity.

Mitt Romney is one of the wealthiest self-made men in our country but has given more back to its citizens in terms of money, service and time than most men.

And in 2011 Mitt Romney gave over $4 million to charity, almost 19% of his income.... Just for comparison purposes, President Obama gave 1% and Joe Biden gave $300 or .0013%.

Mitt Romney is Trustworthy:

He will show us his birth certificate

He will show us his high school and college transcripts.

He will show us his social security card.

He will show us his law degree.

He will show us his draft notice.

He will show us his medical records.

He will show us his income tax records.

He will show us he has nothing to hide.

Mitt Romney's background, experience and trustworthiness show him to be a great leader and an excellent citizen for President of the United States .

You may think that Romney may not be the best representative the Republicans could have selected. At least I know what religion he is, and that he won't desecrate the flag, won’t bow down to foreign powers, or practice fiscal irresponsibility. I feel he has the ability to turn around this financial debacle that the current regime has gotten us into. We probably won't like all the decisions necessary to recover from the national debt, but someone with Romney's background can do it.

On the minus side, Romney worked incredibly hard to turn Staples, Domino's, Sealy, Brookstone, etc. into very successful companies. He was paid well for producing good results. Unfortunately, his wealth is being portrayed as a bad thing. He shouldn’t make so much money. He should be less successful? What kind of a message is that for America ?

Romney never was a "Community Organizer", never smoked pot, did not associate with communists or terrorists like Bill Ayers and Bernadine Zorn, nor did he attend a church whose pastor called for God to damn the United States.

  1. I've never seen Mitt Romney's birth certificate. His dad wasn't even born in the U.S. And what is he hiding in those tax returns he refuses to make public?

  2. Hey anonymous 10:52 who cares about his tax returns? he's wealthy-so what-we all know he's wealthy. He's done alot of great things with it. Were you outraged that they didn't make John Kerry produce his tax returns in 2004??? I don't recall them ever demanding Ted Kennedy's tax return. Both Kennedy and Kerry are extremely wealthy individuals. I seriously doubt it because your part of the hypocritical left that has utterly destroyed this country. I suppose you want to reelect the current administration, so we can hear him spew more crap like he did yesterday-"if you created a business" you didn't do it alone"" crap. What an amazing USA hater and this country is actually falling for that crap.

There are scores of unanswered questions about Nobama. Most of which are basic questions any other person would have to answer to apply for a job or any other program. He refuses to answer.

Have Nobama answer his questions and then ask Romney for his additional tax returns.

You must be on the federal dole

  4. We don't need to see Romney's birth cerificate. His mother was a lady and not some floozie running around like a blue arse fly, hopping from every 3rd world country to 3rd world country and hopping on every man she could.
We don't need to see anymore of his tax returns either because you can bet your bottom dollar that Obama admin has had IRS agents going over the Romney's tax returns with a fine tooth comb looking for any discrepanies or any other thing they can use for a Romney Gotcha Moment or use to discredit him.

  5. Yet with all of these facts, the stupid people of color will still vote for the black Muslim.

  6. 1106 the country is falling apart because of partisan clowns like you on both sides who can't seem to judge any situation, policy, or major decision without a preconcieved "they are evil and we are 100% right" attitude.

  8. Obama is a liar and a fraud, and compared to Mitt Romney nothing but a street wise cracker hating thug.
Obama is not even half the man Mitt Romney is, and never will be.

  9. When you pit a great man like Mitt Romney against a loser like Obama, this is what happens. They are grasping at straws, hoping something will stick to make Romney look bad.
There is not ONE accomplishment Obama can claim so far in his tenure as president so he has no choice but to attempt this diversion tactic.

  10. Anonymous 10:52, Romney's birth certificate is available through any search engine. You haven't a leg to stand on in this arguement. This is an informative article (especially the part where he was an UNPAID governor for 4 years.) Now that's service to your state/country. Self made businessman who understand what it takes to be successful. Read the article again. Then really read it and understand what it's saying. This is what being an American is ALL about.

  11. anonymous 11:19, unfortunately, many people believe the lies and some of it seems to be working. People who do not educate themselves on the candidates and the election are dangerous voters. Brainwashed.

  12. 2010 Romney tax returns shows he paid $6 million in taxes and donated $7 million to charity.

I am more concerned as to why O'mama has his records from Columbia University sealed and refuses to disclose those, among many other sealed documents, that have nothing to do with national security.

  13. Unfortunately for you Romney lovers, he will be defeated soundly in November. Anyone with an ounce of integrity and knowledge of the electorate will say the same. This election was over before it stared. Why do you think the real GOP candidates stood on the sideline this go around? It's over for the GOP this time. Obama wins in a near landslide of popular votes but more importantly wins bif in the electoral count. Nuff said.

  14. They are brainwashed 11:23 and also quite stupid. They idolize politicians who admit to not reading bills before they are passed if in fact they ever read them. They somehow twisted Obamacare into the masses thinking it was care they will not be denied when the reality is it is coverage. They blame everything on George Bush (also John McCain warned) conviently ignoring the fact that Bush warned that Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae were on the verge of collasp, but Barney Frank and the other dems refused to hold congressional hearing on the matter saying both Fannie and Freddie were on firm financial ground. This was the beginning of the house of cards that collaspsed causing the economic mess we are in.

  15. You are probably correct 11:45. And it will be because of all the low lifes Obama attacts which due to their "habit" of reproducing like flies out number us superior people anymore.
You know-the ones who are far more occupied with getting tattoos than getting an education.
You know-the ones who know how to make a baby but don't have a clue as to how to pay for one unless it's something illegal.

    out number us superior people

You really did say that, I had to read it twice because I am so amazed at the ignorance.

  17. Romney is just the next in line. The GOP makes the same mistakes over and over. He doesn't have a chance, never did. For christ sake, look at the field of GOP candidates this time.... Like a circus side show. Nope, the GOP elite are keeping their sights on 2016. Romney is simply the sacrificial lamb for 2012.

  18. yeah, unlike Edwards, Dean, Kerry and the bunch the DNC put up (before Obama who really never should have stood a chance either if he was vetted back then.) talk about a bunch of nutcases

  19. All USA polls show Romney and O'Bamie in a dead heat.

In the last election Obama had support he won't be getting this time around. Obama's healthcare plan gets little support from the American voters.

This election is going to be close, maybe as close as the election of 2000 when Florida won the election for Bush, even though Gore got the most popular votes.

Don't think the economy won't be the biggest issue in this election.
The wars are all but over.

In the past gasoline usually goes down after July forth. With forecasts of very poor corn and soybean yields will also cause the price to keep going up.

Cattle farmers are already selling off their herds because of the price of feed. The worst is yet to come.

I voted for Gore in 2000 and I voted for McCain in 2008, so you can't call me a liberal or a conservative.

What I see with my years of experience and age, is a train wreck just up ahead.

  20. 1:13 The scariest thing about "next in line" is that it will be Santorium, who would turn the US into a theocracy.

  21. If he has nothing to hide, then why not show his tax forms? Romney isn't even doing what this post claims he has done!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Why is it even an issue? Why should we ever care and more importantly why are they relevant?
His leadership abilities and his successes say enough. If he were a tax cheat that would have long been brought to light.
It is nothing but an attempted distraction from the mess Obama has created. The only thing Obama can claim is more people on the welfare roles.

  23. Mitt Romney released a Certificate of Live Birth, just like Obama. But where's his BIRTH CERTIFICATE????? His father wasn't even born in the United States!

And why hasn't he produced his draft deferrals to go along with his draft card? He was issued a draft card in the middle of the Vietnam War and got the Mormon Church to get him deferred. So, he was too good to serve, but he wants to send our kids to go fight in Iran for God knows what.

And the draft was over LONG before Obama would have been of age, so don't even go there.

  24. And don't forget his biggest accomplishment - health care for all in his state. I even believe there was a MANDATE! Horrors!
